6.2 Subtracting Fractions using Models and Unlike Denominators
The homework tonight is on subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. They are using fraction strips to find the common denominators in order to subtract them. We will be teaching the students how to convert and make equivalent fractions using a fraction of one soon. The modeling was done first to give a visual for the students.
