 Parents,

We didn't complete a lesson from Go Math today. We reviewed multi-digit multiplication with math stations. Many students still need to practice their multiplication facts. The homework today is a math worksheet where students have to give an estimate and calculate the actual answer for each problem.

The students learned lesson 1.7 on multiplying multi-digit numbers today. This is a review of multiplying numbers from 4th grade. Students are allowed to choose what multiplication strategy that makes them the most comfortable. Many students don't know their multiplication facts and should practice them each night. Powers of 10

Parents,

We are working on unit 8 in math which is a review of math concepts learned this year. We are working on powers of 10 and so they had a math worksheet on that for homework this evening. Later this week, we will be practicing division.
