Today's math lesson was 7.8 on comparing mixed number factors and products. Students need to understand that when a mixed number is multiplied by a fraction, the product will be less than the value of the mixed number. When a mixed number is multiplied by 1, the product will be the same as the mixed number, and when a mixed number is multiplied by a mixed number, the result will be a bigger mixed number than the factors.
