- Our SMART goal this year is to increase multiplication fluency so that every student has mastered their multiplication facts. This week we will be targeting sixes. We will be monitoring their daily progress.
- Please encourage students to take reading counts tests as they complete their books throughout the year. Reading counts points are being calculated for neighborhood recognition.

Educational Targets:
Math:
Students are continuing chapter 12 on relative sizes of measurement units. This week we will be looking at customary units of weight, liquid volume, metric units of length, and metric units of mass and liquid volume.
Science/ Social Studies:
We will be bouncing back to science this week. They will be learning about series and parallel circuits.
Language Arts:
Their reading comprehension skill this week is applying fact and opinion within reading passages.. The grammar skill is plural possessive nouns and they are publishing explanatory writing by describing how to make a perfect snowman.
