The homework tonight is on problem solving skills that involve division. The lesson is from 4.12 where students need to complete pg.269 - 270. The following video below will assist you if you need help on this lesson. Below that is this week's G Force Gazette.
Neighborhood News

- Please sign and return your child’s progress report that went home before the holiday break.
- Our SMART goal this year is to increase multiplication fluency so that every student has mastered their multiplication facts. This week we will be targeting sixes. We will be monitoring their daily progress.
- Please encourage students to take reading counts tests as they complete their books throughout the year. Reading counts points are being calculated for neighborhood recognition.

Educational Targets:
Math:
Students are finishing chapter 4 on division. We are reviewing chapter 4 tomorrow and will be testing on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday we will be starting chapter 12 on using benchmarks to understand the relative sizes of measurement units and using models to compare customary units of length.
Science/ Social Studies:
Students will continue working on the Alien PBL Project.
Language Arts:
Their reading comprehension skill this week is working on fact and opinion with the reading story, Marven of the Great North Woods. The grammar skill is singular and plural possessive nouns and they are utilizing explanatory writing by describing how to make a perfect snowman.
