Parents,

The lesson today was on problem solving with fractions. The homework is pg.445 - 446 in their math book. The video below is on today's lesson and can assist you in helping your child, if needed. The G Force Gazette is also below.

Wednesday:
  • Homework assigned on Think Central
  • Read for at least 20 minutes
  • Practice your multiplication facts if you don’t have them memorized
Thursday:
  • Math homework pg.447 - 452 on any review problems not done in class
  • Read for at least 20 minutes
  • Practice your multiplication facts if you don’t have them memorized
Friday:

Educational Targets:
Math:
Students will be finishing up the unit with 7.10 on problem solving using fractions and line plots (12.5).

Science/ Social Studies:
We have started a new unit on living organisms where students will be investigating live mealworms, pill bugs, and sow bugs this week.

Language Arts:
Their reading comprehension skill this week is making generalizations as we read the story, The Kapok Tree. The grammar skill is irregular verbs and they will be finishing their final copy in order to publish their fantasy story in a book.
