Normal Wednesday Early Dismissal

Mar.26th - Mar.30th
Spring Break

Educational Targets:
Math:
Students will be starting a new unit on geometry in chapter 10 and chapter 11. They will also be creating their own “geometry town” to apply the learned concepts.

Science/ Social Studies:
We are bouncing back to magnetism this week before Spring Break where students will be building electromagnets, testing the strength of the electromagnet, and reinventing the telegraph.

Language Arts:
Their reading comprehension skill this week is still making generalizations as we work with leveled readers. The grammar skill is still irregular verbs and they will be given more time to finish their final copy in order to publish their fantasy story in a book. We didn’t want to start a new writing assignment with Spring Break next week.
