Educational Targets:
Math:
Students will be finishing the unit on geometry in chapter 11. They will review in preparation for the test on Thursday and assess on Friday. It will include chapters 10 and 11. Please go over the concepts to make sure your child understands them.
Science/ Social Studies:
We are moving back to social studies. We will be working on research and a lapbook on a Native American tribe from a region of their choosing.
Language Arts:
We are continuing our literature circles this week. We will meet to share our job that we completed for the designated pages that were read for the third week. Then they will receive a new job to complete with the next set of pages to be read. They will also be required to still complete work on this week’s grammar skill on pronouns and antecedents. The reading comprehension skill this week is story elements. For writing, they wil continue to do research based on a topic of their choosing.
