The students learned about adding hundredths of a fraction by converting tenths into hundredths and then adding them. Their homework is Lesson 12 which was material they need to know that was not in their Go Math book. The following video will assist you, if needed. This week's G Force Gazette is posted below.

- This is Read Across America Week.
- Friday we are celebrating by having students bring in their favorite Dr. Seuss book to complete a book review on it.

- Our SMART goal this year is to increase multiplication fluency so that every student has mastered their multiplication facts. This week we will be targeting nines. We will be monitoring their daily progress.

Educational Targets:
Math:
Students will be learning fractional tenths and hundredths, subtracting fractions using models, and adding and subtracting mixed numbers.
Science/ Social Studies:
We are bouncing back to science, specifically magnets. They are learning about what objects are attracted to magnets and magnetic fields.
Language Arts:
Their reading comprehension skill this week is graphic sources as we read the story Eye of the Storm. The grammar skill is past, present, and future tense verbs and they will be writing a fantasy story.
